After yet more midweek domestic action we are back into it once again with a full round of Premier League fixtures this weekend. There are some genuinely massive games which are going to have a huge say at both ends of the table and, of course, some great betting opportunities. We’ve gone through the matches and created three accas for you below to get your teeth into.
Easy Winner – evens (BetVictor)
- Over 1.5 goals in Everton v West Ham (1/4) – These are two well matched teams who drew 1-1 when they met earlier in the season. The weather forecast may not be great but we should be expecting a shower of goals at Goodison Park.
- Over 1.5 goals in Swansea v Norwich (1/3) – It is panic stations now for Norwich. They have to arrest their slump and score some goals against fellow strugglers Swansea in South Wales.
- Manchester City to beat Aston Villa (2/11) – Betting on an Aston Villa loss is a pretty solid selection these days but that is especially true for an away game against Manchester City, who are looking to get back in the title race.
Medium Risk – 4/1 (Sky Bet)
- Chelsea to beat Stoke (1/2) – Stoke took advantage of Chelsea’s troubles earlier on in the season to beat them at the Britannia but the Blues should reverse that result at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. They are playing as well as at any point in a year and the players clearly enjoy playing under Guus Hiddink.
- Swansea to beat Norwich (10/11) – Swansea are not a bad team which is probably why their board thought Garry Monk was underachieving. Since he’s left the Swans have improved, if not dramatically. Still, they should have enough to see off the challenge of Norwich at the Liberty Stadium.
- Manchester United to beat West Brom (4/5) – Manchester United have to make the most of their current good form if there is any chance of Louis van Gaal keeping his job. They’ve had a good week or so and should be able to get the three points away at the Hawthorns.
Long Shot – 38/1 (Bet365)
- Tottenham to beat Arsenal and both teams to score (15/4) – Spurs will do very well to stop Arsenal from scoring due to their quality attacking players and desperation in terms of the title race. Even if the Gunners do score at White Hart Lane, Tottenham have enough about them to get the win. This looks like a home win in an entertaining match.
- Bournemouth to beat Newcastle (17/10) – Newcastle are still very much battling for their lives in the Premier League and that pressure could be too much for them at St James’ Park. Bournemouth are a good side on their travels and if they take their chances they could get a win to send the Toon Army into despair.
- Crystal Palace to beat Liverpool (21/10) – Palace are desperate for a win and their form doesn’t make for pretty reading but this is just the sort of match where Alan Pardew has excelled before. This will be tough for Liverpool and could be where it all changes for Palace.
