The international fixtures offered a welcome break from the grind of the domestic season for some clubs but it is straight back into the action this weekend. Sides will be moving at the top and bottom of the Premier League this weekend and with some massive fixtures come some massive betting opportunities. We’ve got three accas for you below to help you no matter what level of risk you wish to take on.
Easy Winner – 19/10 (BetVictor)
- Chelsea to beat Aston Villa (11/20) – Villa may have parted company with Remi Garde but it is way too late for a new manager boost. The Villa board are planning for next season now and Chelsea should be able to capitalise on their malaise to record a win in the Midlands.
- Over 1.5 goals in Norwich v Newcastle (2/5) – This is a massive game towards the foot of the table and both teams know how important a win would be. Desperation is sure to set in at some stage so there should be plenty of goals.
- Over 1.5 goals in Liverpool v Tottenham (1/3) – Will this be the best match of the weekend? Liverpool and Tottenham are two of the best attacking teams in the top flight and two goals is the very minimum we should be expecting.
Medium Risk – 7/1 (Sky Bet)
- Sunderland to beat West Brom (11/10) – This is going to be a real war. A Sam Allardyce team against a Tony Pulis outfit with the home side battling against the drop? It could be brutal and that could be just what Sunderland need to claim a massive win.
- Both teams to score in Norwich v Newcastle (5/6) – If either Norwich or Newcastle lose this game it will have a hugely negative impact on squad morale. Make no mistake this is one of the most important matches of the season for these two and they will both be going all out for the win, making goals inevitable.
- Stoke to beat Swansea (23/20) – Stoke are a solid team concerned with improving both their style and their position in the Premier League. Swansea meanwhile are happy to have dragged themselves away from the relegation zone and there is a danger they could take their eye off the ball and allow Stoke to win at the Britannia once again.
Long Shot – 54/1 (Bet365)
- Arsenal to beat Watford and both teams to score (2/1) – It is a bit of a push to believe that Watford will win at the Emirates like they did a few weeks ago in the FA Cup but they should be able to score even if they come away empty handed.
- Tottenham to beat Liverpool and both teams to score (9/2) – The late game on Saturday should be a real cracker but with major glory pushing them on, Spurs have enough to upset the crowd at Anfield and secure the win.
- Manchester United and Everton to draw (23/10) – These are two very well matched sides who should be involved in a high scoring affair. It would be no shock at all to see the spoils being shared at Old Trafford.
