Once again we should be in line for an exhilarating weekend of action in the Premier League. With derbies galore and some other huge games you can expect a brilliant Match of the Day on both Saturday and Sunday. With all the great games there are also some great chances to profit from the huge number of markets the bookies are offering. Easy Winner – 5/4 (Bet365)
- Over 1.5 goals in Manchester United v Manchester City (1/4) – This is going to be a hotly contested derby between two good attacking teams. Whoever wins, they’re unlikely to do so by just scoring once.
- Over 1.5 goals in Liverpool v Southampton (2/7) – Liverpool may have drawn a blank in Jürgen Klopp’s first game in charge but they are going to have to score to get anything out of a game against Southampton.
- Arsenal to beat Everton (2/5) – Arsenal are on a brilliant run and there could not be more confidence around the Emirates. They can extend that run against Everton who are on the wane a bit at the moment.
Medium Risk – 9/1 (SkyBet)
- Stoke to beat Watford (23/20) – Stoke scraped a very good win against Swansea on Monday night and things are starting to click for Mark Hughes’ team. They need to start winning more games at home and that should begin against Watford.
- Tottenham to beat Bournemouth (13/10) – Bournemouth may be able to write off a loss against Man City at the Etihad but they need to pick up points somewhere. They’ve only won one game in their last six and will find the going tough against Spurs who haven’t lost since the opening game of the season.
- Norwich to beat West Brom (evens) – Norwich will have been doing plenty of work on the training ground after conceding six goals against Newcastle. In West Brom they have opponents that are very beatable and it’s a great chance for them to get back to winning ways.
Long Shot – 40/1 (BetVictor)
- Swansea to beat Aston Villa (31/20) – Garry Monk insists that he is not worried following five games without a win for Swansea. The proof will be in the pudding but they should be able to beat a poor Villa side.
- Over 3.5 goals in Sunderland v Newcastle (27/10) – The Tyne-Wear derby could end up any score. Two underperforming defences go up against each other and with both teams looking to win, four goals is well within the realms of possibility.
- West Ham to beat Chelsea (31/10) – Despite Chelsea’s troubles of late, this is going to be a very difficult game for West Ham. However, having already beaten Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City this season, the Hammers could be happy once again at the end of this one as long as they don’t allow Chelsea the number of chances they’ve given other sides at Upton Park this season.
