There are 16 rounds of fixtures left in this extraordinary Premier League season and we are promised plenty more twists and turns. This weekend there are exciting and important fixtures up and down the country and at both ends of the table. We’ve put together three accas with increasing odds to allow you the chance to profit no matter what amount of risk you’re happy taking on.
Easy Winner – 6/5 (BetVictor)
- Over 1.5 goals in Norwich v Liverpool (4/11) – This is a match which both managers will be targeting for a win and therefore could be the perfect game to kick the weekend off.
- Under 3.5 goals in West Brom v Aston Villa (1/6) – On the face of it, a Midlands derby should be an exciting match played in front of passionate fans but these are two sides capable of playing some awful football and it could be a drab one.
- Over 1.5 goals in Leicester v Stoke (4/11) – In another match which is difficult to predict, the goals should flow throughout the 90 minutes.
Medium Risk – 9/1 (Bet365)
- Over 2.5 goals in Watford v Newcastle (21/20) – Newcastle are playing much better recently and will surely pull away from the bottom three. On the flip side, Watford are slipping away from the top 10 which should lead to an intriguing, end to end match.
- Everton to beat Swansea (13/20) – Everton are going to have to stop throwing away points at the end of matches if they want to improve on their league position. They should start that against Swansea who are very much threatened by relegation and have a shocking away record.
- Sunderland to beat Bournemouth (2/1) – Sam Allardyce has form when it comes to producing big home performances from his team against opposition who like to get the ball down and play football. The Black Cats were very much second best against Tottenham but they should be able to bounce back from that and defeat the Cherries at the Stadium of Light.
Long Shot – 67/1 (Sky Bet)
- Norwich to beat Liverpool (3/1) – Norwich have lost two away games on the trot but they have a real chance of getting back to winning ways on their return to Carrow Road. If they put Liverpool under the cosh with their new signings they could very well triumph against the odds and what price former Everton man Steven Naismith to get the winner?
- West Ham to beat Manchester City (4/1) – Manchester City are the favourites for a reason here but 4/1 is a big price for a West Ham team who have a strong home record against City, who have been poor on their travels. It’ll take another big performance but don’t rule out West Ham doing the double over the Citizens.
- Crystal Palace to beat Tottenham (12/5) – Alan Pardew has been alarmed about his Palace side’s lack of form of late but this is the perfect match for them to bounce back. They like testing themselves against the best teams and the added spice of a London derby could swing it the way of the home side.
