With the international break over it is now time to focus on the domestic football season ahead of the hectic Christmas schedule. As always, there are some brilliant matches to enjoy this weekend in the Premier League and plenty of betting opportunities. Depending on how much risk you feel like taking we have selected three accumulators below for you to use however you like.
Easy Winner – 6/5 (Bet365)
- Over 1.5 goals in Chelsea v Norwich (2/9) – After the international break Chelsea simply must get their season back on track. They’ve got what looks like a home banker against Norwich but given their issues backing over 1.5 goals is a safer option.
- Over 1.5 goals in Newcastle v Leicester (1/5) – Both Leicester and Newcastle have shown that they are at their best when playing attacking football. Expect more of the same on Saturday and a game filled with plenty of scoring opportunities.
- Arsenal to beat West Brom (1/2) – West Brom have lost six games already this season and they’ve got an almighty task on their hands to stop that rising to seven against Arsenal, who have the best away record in the Premier League and who are chasing down Manchester City at the top of the table.
Medium Risk – 7/2 (Sky Bet)
- Everton to beat Aston Villa (4/7) – Villa did very well to battle to a goalless draw against Manchester City in Remi Garde’s first game in charge but they face another huge challenge with their trip to Goodison Park.
- Manchester City to beat Liverpool (8/13) – Liverpool have not beaten Man City away since 2008 and that doesn’t look like changing on Saturday evening. City need to keep Arsenal from overtaking them at the top of the table and they welcome back Sergio Aguero just in case they weren’t scoring enough goals.
- Crystal Palace to beat Sunderland (4/7) – You can bet that Sam Allardyce is holding out until the transfer window in January when he can add to his struggling Sunderland team but they are likely to face another couple of defeats before then including at Selhurst Park against a very good Crystal Palace team.
Long Shot – 32/1 (BetVictor)
- Watford to beat Manchester United (19/5) – Even the staunchest Man Utd fan couldn’t say that they have been completely convinced by the team’s performances this season and they could fall to another defeat at the hands of a very awkward Watford team.
- Raheem Sterling to score against Liverpool (7/4) – Sterling will get a great deal of flak from the travelling Liverpool fans but with six goals already for City he’s got what it takes to make them quiet whilst sending the City fans wild.
- Leicester to beat Newcastle (6/4) – With all the confidence flowing around the Leicester squad they will feel that this is a great chance for another three points and 6/4 looks like a very good price to end our long shot acca with.
