Before the domestic actions begins again over the weekend we’ve got some more international football to enjoy. With the second legs of the playoffs for the European Championships and some intriguing looking friendlies ahead there is plenty of action to get stuck into and plenty of potential routes to profit. So, we’ve picked out three accumulators of varying risk below. Just pick which ones you want to get involved with and hopefully we can beat the bookies together.
Easy Winner – 4/11 (Bet365)
- Over 1.5 goals in Denmark v Sweden (2/5) – Sweden were in the driving seat of this playoff tie before Denmark snatched a late strike to give themselves a potentially decisive away goal. Sweden are likely to have to score to get through so expect an exciting, end to end match.
- Over 1.5 goals in England v France (4/9) – France’s win over Germany was obviously overshadowed on Friday night by the terrorist atrocities but the squad have decided they want to get back to football and a match up against England will give a hint of how far the two sides can progress in the summer.
- Over 1.5 goals in Germany v Holland (11/8) – Holland are trying to bounce back from their poor qualifying performance and managed to beat Wales away from home last time out. Germany meanwhile want to prove that they are the number one contenders for the Euros, so expect goals.
Medium Risk – 7/2 (Sky Bet)
- Russia to beat Croatia (5/4) – Russia are going to take friendlies very seriously from now until they host the World Cup in 2018. They have a good squad and should win at home.
- Italy to beat Romania (8/13) – The Azzurri were comfortably beaten by Belgium but should be able to bounce back against an average Romanian side, if not there are serious questions to answer before the Euros.
- Zlatan Ibrahimović to score against Denmark (6/4) – Zlatan came up with the goods in the first leg and he’ll once again lead from the front so expect him to be involved in whatever happens in Copenhagen.
Long Shot – 58/1 (BetVictor)
- Slovenia to beat Ukraine (2/1) – Ukraine are in a strong position following their 2-0 home win but Slovenia are by no means pushovers and at home they could upset the odds and record a convincing win to take them through to the finals.
- Over 3.5 goals in Denmark v Sweden (18/5) – Both teams will go into the game believing that they can win which could lead to an incredibly entertaining game in Copenhagen. With goalscorers on both teams and a need to score goals this looks like the game to be watching on Tuesday night.
- Kevin De Bruyne to score against Spain (5/2) – Of all the incredible players that Belgium have to call upon, De Bruyne is arguably the best. He has slotted in almost effortlessly at Manchester City and that knack of popping up with important goals could well be in evidence against the reigning European Champions.
