Christmas really is just around the corner and if you haven’t yet completed your present-buying then there’s still time to get some extra cash by landing a nice fat acca win! There are nine games this weekend for us to run the rule over and from the Premier League fixtures we’ve come up with three great football accumulators at a range of odds.
Easy Winner – 4/6 (Bet365)
- Man City to beat Crystal Palace (2/7) – Man City are starting to fire and they will have far too much for Palace at the Etihad, even if they do have some serious injury issues in the forward department.
- Man City v Palace over 1.5 goals (2/11) – City are a free-scoring side and whoever plays up front will have enough good supply to hurt the Eagles. Palace have conceded two or more five times on their travels and over 1.5 goals in the game looks very solid, not least because the underdogs aren’t too bad going forward themselves.
- Southampton v Everton under 4.5 goals (1/10) – Our easy winner is at shorter odds than normal this week because we’re playing it safe – you want those Christmas presents right? Under 4.5 here is real banker between two sides with some of England’s best defenders.
Medium Risk – 13/2 (BetVictor)
- Hull v Swansea both teams to score (9/10) – Given Hull have seen only two BTTS games in their last eight this may seem like an odd call but the Swans look a bit tired at the moment and they don’t travel well so we fancy the Tigers can get a goal or two in this one.
- QPR to beat West Brom (11/8) – The Baggies got a massive win at home to Villa in their last game but the Hoops are not an easy side to face on home soil and they should have too much for their opponents here.
- West Ham to beat Leicester (7/10) – West Ham continue to perform very well, especially at home, whilst the Foxes have lost eight of their last nine, making this one a home banker.
Long Shot – 45/1 (Bet365)
- Aston Villa +0.5 to beat Man United (13/10) – United’s run of playing poorly yet winning must end at some point and given they are considerably weaker on the road we think they could easily come unstuck here, despite the poor form of the home side.
- Tottenham v Burnley: draw/Tottenham (3/1) – Spurs just keep on scraping the results – usually coming from behind to win. With Burnley in decent nick, backing Burnley/Spurs offers real appeal at 25/1 but we think a more likely outcome is draw/Spurs, with Tottenham set to dominate possession and ultimately wear down a valiant Burnley.
- Liverpool v Arsenal: Liverpool win and BTTS (4/1) – Liverpool are in woeful form but there were encouraging signs against Man United, despite being on the wrong end of the 3-0 score. With Arsenal far from confident at the back and with some major injury issues we think the home team will just about prove good enough to get a much-needed win, with 2-1 our correct score prediction.
