We’ve got more matches from the second load of group stage games at Euro 2016 to enjoy over Friday and Saturday. With work done for another couple of days, it is the perfect chance to sit back and enjoy the action from France. To help add to your excitement levels we’ve put together three accumulators below to try and secure some profit from the bookies, no matter what level of risk you are comfortable with.
Easy Winner – 6/5 (BetVictor)
- Spain to beat Turkey (2/5) – Spain did very well in their opening game. They kept the ball expertly against the Czech Republic and if they are just a little more clinical against Turkey they should ease their way into the knockout stage.
- Italy/draw double chance against Sweden (2/11) – Who saw Italy’s performance against Belgium coming? Antonio Conte’s team were fantastic from the first whistle to the last and they should be able to avoid defeat against an average looking Sweden side.
- Over 1.5 goals in Belgium v Ireland (1/3) – Belgium now need to beat Ireland to get their campaign back on track. That was never going to be easy but after the Belgians’ poor opening performance, Ireland will be confident they can score and make things tough.
Medium Risk – 5/1 (Sky Bet)
- Under 2.5 goals in Iceland v Hungary (4/7) – Hungary’s attack was widely criticised at home before scoring twice against Austria and against an incredibly stubborn Iceland side they could find themselves without too many scoring opportunities.
- Croatia to beat the Czech Republic (10/11) – Croatia looked a very tidy team in their first game of the tournament against Turkey. With a tough fixture against Spain still to come they will be sure to do all they can to beat the Czech Republic to qualify at the earliest possible stage.
- Spain -1 goal against Turkey (evens) – Spain are going to dominate the ball once more when they take on Turkey. They are racing certainties to win but could just cut loose to send a warning message out to the rest of the competition that they are looking good to win the Euros for the third time in a row.
Long Shot – 26/1 (Bet365)
- Italy to beat Sweden to nil (8/5) – Italy surprised everybody by their positive approach to the game against Belgium but they are a team very much built around a stable defence. Gigi Buffon may well be about to add another clean sheet to his phenomenal record.
- Ireland to beat Belgium (9/2) – Recent major international tournaments are littered with teams who began well fancied but who crashed and burned at the first hurdle. Ireland will feel they have a decent chance of imposing a crushing blow to Belgium who could be about to join that list of high class failures.
- Cristiano Ronaldo to score against Austria (10/11) – Try as he might, Ronaldo just couldn’t find the net against Iceland. Expect him to take even more shots from long range and set pieces in order to score in four consecutive European Championships.
