Are we quite in squeaky bum territory yet? Leicester seem to be showing no signs of the strain at the top of the Premier League but the cracks have long since appeared in the teams towards the foot of the table. This should be the weekend that Aston Villa’s relegation is finally confirmed but with plenty else to fight for, we’ve gone through the matches and picked out our three best accas to give you the chance of winning at the bookies.
Easy Winner – 11/10 (BetVictor)
- Manchester United to beat Aston Villa (2/9) – Villa fans will be wondering when they’ll next visit Old Trafford. They’ll be doing a tour of Championship grounds next season and their relegation should be confirmed with a whimper against Man United.
- Arsenal to beat Crystal Palace (1/3) – Arsene Wenger cannot publicly give up on the Premier League title just yet but he knows the game is up. Still the Gunners should have more than enough to get past an alarmingly poor Crystal Palace side.
- Over 1.5 goals in Leicester v West Ham (2/7) – This is highly unlikely to be another 1-0 job for Leicester. The Foxes should be able to make the most of West Ham’s defensive worries but will have a job on their hands keeping Andy Carroll and Dimitri Payet at bay.
Medium Risk – 8/1 (Sky Bet)
- Southampton to beat Everton (21/10) – Southampton’s only defeat in their last five matches came against Leicester as they are finishing the season strongly. Everton, meanwhile, have just one point from four matches and their league campaign can continue to frustrate by losing to the Saints at Goodison Park.
- Under 2.5 goals in West Brom v Watford (4/7) – Something extra special is going to have to happen to stop this match being last on Match of the Day. These are two sides with little to play for and a 0-0 could be in the offing.
- Tottenham to beat Stoke (4/5) – Like West Brom and Watford, Stoke are pretty much going through the motions until the end of the season. That is far from the case with Spurs though and they should continue to heap the pressure on Leicester with a fourth win in five games.
Long Shot – 107/1 (Bet365)
- Sunderland to beat Norwich and both teams to score (11/2) – Sam Allardyce and his Sunderland side have not given up hope. They know that Norwich can be poor at home and although the Canaries should breach the visitor’s defence the Black Cats can win if they take their chances.
- Bournemouth to beat Liverpool (23/10) – Bournemouth can start celebrating their impressive first Premier League season and what better way then beating a Liverpool side who put a huge amount of effort into their match against Dortmund on Thursday?
- Newcastle to beat Swansea and both teams to score (4/1) – Rafa Benitez will let his players know in no uncertain terms that they have to beat Swansea on Saturday. The Swans have some quality attacking options but the Magpies should have enough to keep their season going.
