At this stage of the season there is no hanging about on the European football scene. There are top class matches wherever you look and that is certainly the case on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with the second leg of the Champions League and Europa League quarter finals. Without further ado, let’s crack on with three accumulators below to give you betting options whatever level of risk you are looking to take on.
Easy Winner – 9/10 (BetVictor)
- Over 1.5 goals in Manchester City v PSG (2/9) – City did very well to avoid defeat at the Parc des Princes but in truth the match will be remembered for some shocking defensive mistakes. The goals should flow at the Etihad.
- Over 1.5 goals in Liverpool v Dortmund (1/4) – Liverpool’s chances of getting through to the semi finals have increased significantly thanks to their 1-1 draw at the Westfalenstadion. Dortmund should still be considered hugely dangerous though and there will be more goals at Anfield.
- Sevilla/draw double chance against Athletic Bilbao (1/4) – Thanks to an away win in the first leg against fellow La Liga side Athletic, Sevilla just have to avoid defeat to stay on track for a fantastic third straight Europa League and they certainly have what it takes to get the job done.
Medium Risk – 7/1 (Sky Bet)
- Wolfsburg to qualify against Real Madrid (5/6) – Real Madrid were upset with their 2-0 defeat against Wolfsburg but they believe they have enough still to qualify. However, they have not overturned a first leg Champions League defeat in their last six attempts and Wolfsburg can complete their shock progression to the semi finals.
- Manchester City to beat PSG (6/4) – City will have gained a great deal of confidence from their draw in Paris and will probably have wondered what all the fuss was about. With the wind in their sails they can get the job done within 90 minutes.
- Dortmund to qualify against Liverpool (8/11) – Liverpool cannot afford to take their foot off the gas for a minute against Dortmund. They are widely regarded as the best team left in the Europa League and have some frightening attacking players so can nab the two goals they need to qualify.
Long Shot – 85/1 (Bet365)
- Benfica to beat Bayern Munich (4/1) – It looked as though it was all going to pot for Benfica when they went 1-0 down against Bayern inside the first minute. However, they scrapped to keep it at that score at they could well upset the odds to beat the German champions at home in Portugal.
- Sparta Prague to beat Villarreal (13/5) – Sparta’s run of away wins in the Europa League ended against Villarreal but they have the team spirit and the ability to win the match in this well balanced tie.
- Dortmund to beat Liverpool and both teams to score (15/4) – Thomas Tuchel was forced to share the spoils against Jurgen Klopp but the young manager could have the final word by masterminding a win in what should be a fantastic match under the lights at Anfield.
