The FA Cup sixth round means that there are fewer Premier League matches than normal this weekend but fear not, we are still promised some top quality action with yet more important games which will have an impact at the top and the bottom of the league table. There is also no need to fear about your bets as we have scoured the options available to you to bring you three accas of lengthening odds to try and beat the bookies.
Easy Winner – 10/9 (BetVictor)
- Over 1.5 goals in Norwich v Manchester City (2/9) – Manchester City should be able to get the first win of the weekend when they visit Carrow Road in the early kick off to take on a Norwich side who are desperate for a win in their fight against relegation.
- Over 1.5 goals in Aston Villa v Tottenham (2/7) – Aston Villa are a complete mess at the moment and with Spurs looking to put pressure on those around them at the top of the league you get the feeling they could win by just about any score.
- Under 3.5 goals in Leicester v Newcastle (4/11) – The pressure is on for these two for very different reasons. With such an important match for both, don’t expect a wild 90 minutes of goalscoring action.
Medium Risk – 7/1 (Sky Bet)
- Both teams to score in Stoke v Southampton (5/6) – Southampton seem to have lost a bit of their defensive stability recently and that is not good news against a Stoke side who are packed with quality attacking players. Both teams should find the net in this one.
- Tottenham to beat Aston Villa to nil (11/8) – Tottenham do not concede many goals at all and should be able to dominate the ball and make sure they get the win at Villa Park without too much trouble.
- Swansea/draw double chance against Bournemouth (4/5) – Bournemouth do not have a great record at home this season and that will have to change against a resurgent Swansea side. The Swans should have enough about them to avoid defeat at Dean Court.
Long Shot – 37/1 (Bet365)
- Stoke and Southampton to draw (11/5) – Stoke and Southampton are probably going to have to settle for a mid-table finish this season. Both sides have struggled with consistency and given that they look to be very well matched this could well end up as a draw.
- Over 3.5 goals in Bournemouth v Swansea (3/1) – Bournemouth and Swansea look to have done enough to avoid relegation this season after both going through some sticky spells at times. As they are going to feel a lack of pressure to get three points on the South Coast they may serve up an attacking spectacle to thoroughly entertain all of those who make the trip to the Vitality Stadium.
- Leicester to beat Newcastle to nil (13/8) – Newcastle are really struggling and another poor performance against Leicester could be the final nail in the coffin for Steve McClaren. With Leicester’s solid defence the Foxes could allow them to win this one without conceding.
