There is a full schedule of Premier League action this weekend with some potentially classic matches, including derbies in north London and Merseyside, as well as some massive six-point relegation battles. We’ve got three football accumulators for you with a range of odds so whether you’re looking for a nice banker or something at huge odds that will deliver the goods from a small stake, we’ve got it covered.
Easy Winner – evens (BetVictor)
- Spurs v Arsenal over 1.5 goals (1/4) – We open our easiest acca with the north London derby and given both sides have plenty of options in attack yet look average at the back, we’re sure there will be goals aplenty in this one. The most recent matches have been tight, with the reverse fixture ending 1-1 (though even that would have been good enough for this bet) but 14 Premier League meetings between December 2006 and March 2013 averaged more than four goals per game and we expect more of the same here.
- Man City to beat Hull (2/11) – 2/11 is great value for this banker and we expect City to crush clueless Hull, the Tigers having taken just eight points from their last 14 games.
- QPR v Southampton over 1.5 goals (4/11) – QPR remain managerless and Southampton will feel they can get the better of them but with Rangers having averaged 1.5 goals per game themselves at home we can’t see this bet failing to bring home our first accumulator.
Medium Risk – 10/1 (BetVictor)
- Spurs v Arsenal over 2.5 goals (3/4) – For all the reasons mentioned in our Easy Winner acca we think there will be goals here and 3/4 represents a great price for at least three of them in this match.
- Leicester v Crystal Palace: draw (23/10) – This is a real relegation six-pointer and with both sides showing improvement of late a draw looks the likely result in a game both will feel they can win yet neither can afford to lose.
- West Ham v Man United over 2.5 goals (19/20) – West Ham are strong at home and given United are relatively weak on the road – they have just the seventh best away stats in the Premier League – we feel there could be an upset here. Whatever the result though we think odds of almost evens for three goals or more are top value and we back this one to seal our middle-odds accumulator this weekend.
Long Shot – 60/1 (BetVictor)
- Everton v Liverpool: draw and both teams to score (18/5) – both sides are showing some improvement of late, Everton unbeaten in five including a win last time out and a draw against Man City, Liverpool boasting a record of one loss in 13. Home advantage should be enough to see the Toffees earn a draw here in a fixture that has seen five score draws in the last 12 Premier League games between the rivals and three in the most recent five, including two at Goodison.
- Newcastle v Stoke: draw (23/10) – Just a place and two points separate this pair in the Premier League table and the draw looks a solid option at nice odds.
- West Ham to beat Man United (3/1) – As mentioned above, United are average on their travels and given the Hammers have beaten Liverpool, Man City and Swansea at home, 3/1 is huge for them to win here.
