There are some huge matches in the Premier League this weekend. All the teams are either jostling for position in the table or desperately trying to drag themselves away from trouble. - Man City to beat Middlesbrough (2/9) – Man City recorded one of the biggest wins in their history against Barcelona. Pep Guardiola’s side can ride on the crest of that wave of positivity to win again against Middlesbrough.
- Liverpool to beat Watford (1/4) – Liverpool have played themselves into contention for the Premier League title with their brilliant start to the season. On Sunday they’re sure to beat Watford if Jurgen Klopp’s side produce anything like their best stuff.
- Under 3.5 goals in West Ham v Stoke (4/11) – There will be a very nervous atmosphere at the London Stadium on Saturday. West Ham and Stoke are desperate not to lose and they are going to do all they can to keep a clean sheet. This could be settled by the odd goal either way.
Medium Risk – 11/2 (Sky Bet)
- Bournemouth to beat Sunderland and over 2.5 goals (11/8) – Sunderland are not getting any better. After getting on terms with Arsenal last weekend they threw their chances away. They’ve got another tough match at Dean Court and could ship plenty of goals once again.
- Southampton to beat Hull (4/6) – Southampton were very much second best against Chelsea last weekend but have a great chance to return to winning ways at the KCOM Stadium. Hull are really struggling and will need their very best stuff to avoid a big defeat.
- Goal in both halves in Arsenal v Tottenham (4/6) – Players of both Arsenal and Tottenham are going to have to work very hard in the north London derby after their exploits in the Champions League. With tired legs and frazzled minds in the fevered atmosphere, mistakes will be made and there should be a goal scored in each half.
Long Shot – 44/1 (Bet365)
- Chelsea to beat Everton to nil (7/4) – Chelsea have looked an entirely different team since switching to the three at the back formation that has served Antonio Conte so well previously. The Blues can record yet another win to nil when they host Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
- Leicester to beat West Brom to nil (7/4) – Leicester are starting to believe that they can have another very impressive season in the Premier League. After a poor start, they’re now attacking and defending well. If they put in another high quality performance they can see off West Brom with relative ease on Sunday.
- Swansea to beat Man United (5/1) – Swansea have shown some slight improvements since Bob Bradley took the reins in South Wales but individual mistakes have cost them dearly. The Swans look ready for a huge performance which could come against Man United who have been very poor this season.
