The Premier League returns after the international break with some exciting and interesting fixtures this weekend. With less than 10 games to go, points at both the top and bottom of the table are hugely important. We have combed through the matches to find you the best chance of making some big profit with our three regular football accumulators at a range of odds.
Easy Winner – Evens (BetVictor)
- Chelsea to beat Stoke (1/4) – Chelsea have lost some of their edge at home but play a Stoke team who score an average of less than a goal per game on their travels. With only the league to concentrate on, Chelsea should return to winning ways in front of their own fans.
- Manchester United to beat Aston Villa (2/7) – Louis van Gaal’s team turned in their best performance of the season when they easily beat Liverpool last time out. That gave them a leg-up in the race for the Champions League spots which they should solidify with a win against relegation-threatened Villa.
- Arsenal v Liverpool over 1.5 goals (2/9) – Both Arsenal and Liverpool have players who can score goals out of nothing and both are looking to make sure they finish in the top four. This looks to be a competitive game which should definitely see more than just a single goal.
Medium Risk – 13/2 (Totesport)
- Burnley v Tottenham both teams to score (8/13) – Burnley are fighting for their Premier League survival and have recorded some good results whilst narrowly missing out on others. They should manage to score against Tottenham but will struggle to keep a clean sheet, with yet another 2-1 Spurs win a real possibility.
- Swansea to beat Hull (10/11) – Swansea have yet to lose a game at home against any of the teams below them in the Premier League and Hull have yet to beat any of the teams above them on their travels. That adds up to a high chance for a Swansea win at decent odds.
- Sunderland to beat Newcastle (6/4) – Sunderland are in shocking form but have a very good recent record in the north east derby and play a Newcastle team ravaged by injuries. Dick Advocaat has had time to work with the squad and could record a vital first win…and bring home our acca!
Long Shot – (Bet365)
- Diego Costa to score and Chelsea to win 2-0 (3/1) – Costa enjoys a battle against a physical defence which is just what he’ll get against Stoke. Combining him to score and Chelsea to win is a good shout.
- Danny Ings to score against Tottenham (6/4) – Ings has got the rest of the season to score as many goals as possible and secure a move to another Premier League club at the end of the season. He will score again this year, that’s for sure, and could give Burnley a boost in the game against Spurs which we expect he will.
- West Brom v QPR, correct score 0-0 (8/1) – West Brom have drawn 0-0 four times this season and play a QPR side who struggle to score on their travels. This one doesn’t look a classic on paper so don’t be surprised if it ends up a bore draw stalemate.
