This week we are treated to a double dose of Premier League action with a full card of fixtures taking place over Tuesday and Wednesday night. There are some interesting looking matches too, including the London derby between West Ham and Chelsea and an important game for both Hull and Sunderland as they go head-to-head at the KC Stadium. Below are three accas of increasing odds to make some profit from these bonus fixtures.
Easy Winner – 9/10 (BetVictor)
- Aston Villa v West Brom under 3.5 goals (2/11) – Villa’s problems in front of goal are well known and West Brom away games average fewer than two goals. So under 3.5 goals should be an absolute banker.
- Manchester City to beat Leicester (1/4) – Although City have failed to win a couple of games when going off ridiculously short in recent weeks, they are looking decent at the moment and should easily see of the doomed Foxes.
- Tottenham v Swansea over 1.5 goals (2/7) – Both Spurs’ home games and Swansea away games average over 2.5 goals in the Premier League. The reverse fixture ended 2-1 to Tottenham and over 1.5 goals should be easily achieved.
Medium Risk – 10/1 (Coral)
- QPR v Arsenal both teams to score (3/4) – QPR look as though if they are going down, they are at least going down fighting. They will throw everything they’ve got against an Arsenal defence that annoys and mystifies their fans in equal measures. Rangers’ defence is so poor that both teams should find the back of the net in this one as Charlie Austin looks to impress potential suitors once more.
- Liverpool v Burnley over 2.5 goals (4/6) – Liverpool have got their big-name attacking players back and scoring goals. Add to that the threat of a never-say-die Burnley and the in-form Danny Ings and you see why this one should have goals.
- Stoke to beat Everton (31/20) – Cold, noisy nights at the Britannia Stadium are the sort of games that all managers want to avoid. Roberto Martinez is under pressure and his under-performing Everton side will walk away from this one with a bloody nose unless they play brilliantly.
Long Shot – 66/1 (Bet365)
- Manchester City -3 to beat Leicester (3/1) – Manuel Pellegrini’s side showed against Newcastle that they don’t take their foot off the gas if they are in the lead. They can do some serious morale damage to Leicester with a huge win.
- Hull v Sunderland under 1.5 goals (13/8) – Neither of these two score many goals and a draw would suit them both as they look to distance themselves from the relegation scramble beneath them.
- Crystal Palace to beat Southampton (5/1) – Palace beat Southampton in the FA Cup at St Mary’s and have enough about them to pull off another shock win. They are playing well under Pardew, the same of which cannot be said about Southampton in recent games as they appear to be plummeting out of the race for the Champions League places.
