We’re at the halfway stage of the Premier League season as we move into 2016. If the second half is anything like the first then this season is going to be remembered for decades to come. Everywhere you look there are surprising storylines but we think that the three accumulators below can help you pocket some lovely profit to welcome in the New Year.
Easy Winner – 13/8 (BetVictor)
- Arsenal to beat Newcastle (3/10) – With every passing weekend, Arsenal’s chances of finally winning the Premier League again increase. There have been some bumps along the way but the Gunners are generally playing well and should dispatch Newcastle with relative ease.
- Both teams to score in Everton v Tottenham (3/5) – With Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane on the pitch both Everton and Tottenham have a great chance of scoring. Those two aside there are goal threats all over the pitch for these two exciting teams.
- Over 1.5 goals in Leicester v Bournemouth (2/7) – Leicester should arrest their lack of goals against Bournemouth following two games without finding the net. The Cherries also will fancy their chances of scoring more than once.
Medium Risk – 21/4 (Bet365)
- Over 2.5 goals in West Ham v Liverpool (21/20) – West Ham are getting their important attacking players back from injury while Liverpool are giving all they can to secure a top four spot. The early Saturday kick off should be an entertaining affair.
- Manchester City to beat Watford (4/6) – City have been incredibly inconsistent of late but they know they have to go on a run to get back into the title mix and that could begin against Watford who don’t have a good record against teams towards the top of the table.
- Both teams to score in Norwich v Southampton (5/6) – Norwich are spending money to improve their squad to give themselves the best chance of remaining in the Premier League. They’ll fancy a shot at the three points against Southampton who are capable of some brilliant football but have displayed a mental fragility this season.
Long Shot – 33/1 (Sky Bet)
- Crystal Palace to beat Chelsea (13/5) – Chelsea fans expecting their side to get back to winning ways just because of Guus Hiddink’s return may be in for another nasty surprise. The Dutch manager has not impressed in recent jobs and Crystal Palace are a very tricky opponent who could secure the double against the Blues on Sunday.
- Bournemouth to beat Leicester (13/5) – The Cherries have shown they can take advantage of teams who are going through a sticky patch and while that may be a bit harsh on Leicester after two winless games, at 13/5 Bournemouth have to be considered to have a good chance.
- Everton to beat Tottenham (13/8) – Roberto Martinez’s men have turned in some very good performances without the results always following. They have a very good chance of stopping a fine Tottenham team if the Toffees are at their best.
