The first two weekends of the Premier League have thrown up some highly entertaining games. With some exciting fixtures in prospect there is no reason to suggest anything different this weekend. So, we’ve gone through the weekend’s games to provide you with three trebles of increasing odds to give you something to bet on no matter how much risk you want to take on.
Easy Winner – 6/5 (BetVictor)
- Man City to beat Bournemouth (1/3) – Man City haven’t been at their fluent best so far. However, they’ve not been too far off and Bournemouth could be the first team to feel City at full flow.
- Over 1.5 goals in Newcastle v West Ham (3/10) – Newcastle and West Ham are desperate to pick up their first win of the season. That should result in a thoroughly entertaining game at St James’ Park with goals for both teams.
- Tottenham to beat Burnley (1/4) – You could sense Spurs were edgy at Wembley Stadium against Chelsea. They will be very keen to race to an early lead against Burnley and should end the so called curse of Wembley against the Clarets.
Medium Risk – 6/1 (Sky Bet)
- Crystal Palace to beat Swansea (10/11) – Crystal Palace fans were happy to have Huddersfield first up but they watched on in horror as their team fluffed their lines against the Terriers. Palace should make up for that defeat with a win over Swansea.
- Under 2.5 goals in Watford v Brighton (4/6) – Brighton have taken a defensive approach to their return to the Premier League. They have made life tough for Man City and Leicester and they should keep things tight against Watford even if they lose their third straight game.
- Both teams to score in Tottenham v Burnley (5/4) – One of the big problems that Spurs are going to have this season is teams raising their game for their trip to Wembley. Burnley will do just that and while Tottenham should pick up their first win in their new home, the Clarets can make things interesting by grabbing a goal.
Long Shot – 63/1 (Bet365)
- Man City to score over 3.5 goals against Bournemouth (11/4) – Bournemouth know that they’re in for a very tough game against on Saturday but they may still be surprised by the quality of Man City. If they get off to a fast start, City can cut loose and put the Cherries to the sword.
- Southampton to beat Huddersfield and both teams to score (15/4) – Huddersfield have had a dream start to their first ever season in the Premier League. David Wagner will be telling his players not to get complacent but they may still find out for themselves how tough this division is when the entertaining Southampton visit the John Smith’s Stadium.
- West Brom to beat Stoke to nil (13/5) – Truth be told, Stoke rode their luck at times during their win over Arsenal last weekend. They will rightly be buzzing about that win but West Brom’s defensive solidity and ability to see out wins could see the Potters come back down to earth at the Hawthorns.
