After last week’s FA Cup fixtures, the Premier League once again takes centre stage this weekend. With a full card over the weekend, there are plenty of opportunities to put some trebles together and try to take some money from the bookies’ pockets. So, without further ado, let’s get stuck in to our usual three accas!
Easy Winner – 15/8 (BetVictor)
- Chelsea to beat Burnley (1/5) – Sitting in 19th, Burnley have a real fight on their hands to stay in the Premier League. Fortunately for Sean Dyche’s men, they are by no means cut adrift from the teams above them. Unfortunately, that may change this weekend as they are sure to be beaten by leaders Chelsea who have an almost perfect home record.
- Swansea v Manchester United over 1.5 goals (4/11) – Manchester United have been getting results in matches that their performances haven’t exactly deserved. Swansea have the ability to score at home but Louis van Gaal’s men should also score making the over 1.5 bet a no brainer.
- Everton to beat Leicester (3/4) – Poor Leicester look like they are going down with a whimper. They are rock-bottom of the league, five points away from the haven of 17th. The games don’t get any easier in this league, especially against an Everton side with something to prove. The final bet for our easy winner acca is an Everton win.
Medium Risk – 11/1 (Coral)
- Manchester City v Newcastle over 1.5 goals (6/4) – Both teams have scored in 64% of City’s games this season. Even if Newcastle don’t manage to score at the Etihad on Saturday evening, the home side can put the Toon to the sword so the 6/4 looks excellent value.
- Chelsea to win to nil against Burnley (10/11) – Jose Mourinho knows how to win games to nil. He has been able to keep Chelsea relatively injury free by getting ahead in games then taking the metaphorical foot off the gas. Even with the ‘Ginger Mourinho’ plotting a way to score, Chelsea look destined to win this one with little fuss.
- Aston Villa to beat Stoke(7/4) – Tim Sherwood made an instant impact at Villa Park when he had a word with his new charges at half time during the FA Cup match against Leicester. Expect the new manager boost to continue against a Stoke side who have lost more away games then they’ve won this season.
Long Shot – (75/1)(Bet365)
- Tottenham v West Ham, Christian Eriksen to score (2/1) – Harry Kane may be taking the headlines but Eriksen has scored a number of vital goals for Spurs this season. He can take advantage of a West Ham team in a poor run of form to take his tally for the season to eight.
- Crystal Palace v Arsenal draw (13/5) – Palace look a good side under Alan Pardew as they go into a game with the hit-and-miss Arsenal. Pardew has proven himself able to get under the skin of Arsene Wenger and will have his team well motivated for this one. Back the home side to get a point out of the game in this acca.
- Sunderland v West Brom, 0-0 correct score (6/1) – West Brom have kept five clean sheets away in the league this so far. Tony Pulis is a safety-first manager when taking his team on their travels. His side come up against a Sunderland outfit this week who have failed to score in five of their games at home. That makes the 0-0 look a great price at 6/1.
