There’s just one more weekend of action in the Premier League before Christmas and with some very interesting fixtures we could be in line for yet another top quality weekend of action in this most exciting of seasons. We’ve once again put together three accumulators of increasing odds to give you something exciting to bet on however much risk you fancy taking on this weekend.
Easy Winner – evens (BetVictor)
- Over 1.5 goals in Newcastle v Aston Villa (1/3) – Newcastle’s best results have come thanks to an attacking style of play and a similar performance should see them breach this Aston Villa defence on more than one occasion.
- Under 3.5 goals in Swansea v West Ham (1/4) – There will be a nervous atmosphere at the Liberty Stadium where manager-less Swansea are slipping ever closer to the relegation zone. They play West Ham who have found goals hard to come by recently due to a number of injuries to key players.
- Over 1.5 goals in Everton v Leicester (1/5) – Two in-form teams face off at Goodison on Saturday both of whom carry a big goal threat and both of whom will be looking to take all three points so there should be goals galore.
Medium Risk – 9/2 (Bet365)
- Crystal Palace/draw against Stoke (4/7) – The Premier League gives and it takes away in terms of reputations. Just as people start giving Stoke credit for their style of football Palace are gaining a reputation as a safety first team more concerned with defending than anything else. Alan Pardew’s team are difficult to beat and could well escape with at least a point on Saturday.
- Under 2.5 goals in Chelsea v Sunderland (evens) – Sam Allardyce will turn up to Stamford Bridge looking to frustrate Chelsea as he has done more than once before. Sunderland will sit back and make scoring difficult for the under fire Blues.
- Both teams to score in Southampton v Tottenham (8/11) – Tottenham need to bounce back from their defeat against Newcastle last week but they’ll not find it easy to beat Southampton who will be very motivated to get a result against their former manager.
Long Shot – 75/1 (Sky Bet)
- Watford to beat Liverpool (11/4) – Watford have done very well this season but they’ll need to improve their home form to maintain a place in the top 10. They’ll be happy to see how unhappy Jurgen Klopp was by the tactics of West Brom last week and can use their direct style to secure a hugely important home win.
- Norwich to beat Manchester United (13/2) – With the way that Manchester United are playing at the moment Norwich could be the latest team to turn in a shock performance in this most unpredictable of seasons.
- Manchester City to beat Arsenal (17/10) – Manchester City are a very strange team, capable of being impressive and woeful in consecutive weeks. The title race could come down to these two teams and City’s extra experience could just tell in Monday’s game
