The Champions League and Europa League are moving swiftly towards their final stages. This week are a number of tense first leg matches between some of the biggest clubs on the continent and we have had a look at all the games to put together three accas to help you make a profit from these huge European matches. So, without further ado, let’s get our teeth into picking some winners.
Easy Winner – 17/10 (Coral)
- Juventus to beat Monaco (1/2) – Juventus are riding high in Serie A and are looking to add European success to their domestic dominance. They play a Monaco team who beat the odds to get through against Arsenal but who will be happy just to have made the quarter finals. Juve should get through this tie thanks to a routine home win.
- Club Brugge v Dnipro over 1.5 goals (2/5) – All of Brugge’s last four games have had four goals and Dnipro have scored in five of their last six games. They will both feel they can get through this tie so will be looking to win the first leg.
- Porto v Bayern Munich over 1.5 goals (3/10) – Bayern score plenty of goals but they haven’t been at their brilliant best of late which will give Porto a boost. The home side know their best chance of getting to the semi finals is by recording a positive result in the first leg.
Medium Risk – 9/2 (BetVictor)
- Barcelona to beat PSG (4/5) – PSG managed to beat Barcelona in the group stages but Barca are a tougher proposition now and the home side are suffering from a number of player absences.
- Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid both teams to score (20/23) – Atletico have beaten Real twice in the league this season, including a 4-0 success at home. Real, though, are the defending champions and know the value of an away goal.
- Sevilla to beat Zenit (7/10) – Sevilla have won each of their home games in the Europa League this season and are well placed to carry on with that run against Zenit on Thursday night.
Long Shot – 65/1 (Bet365)
- Wolfsburg to beat Napoli to nil (12/5) – Napoli have failed to score in three away games in the Europa League already this season so favourites Wolfsburg will believe they can take a big step towards qualification by securing a win with the added bonus of a clean sheet.
- Juventus to beat Monaco 2-0 (19/4) – Juventus have shown that they can take an early lead and defend their position. They know there is no need for a huge win against Monaco so 2-0 looks a very likely scoreline for this first leg match.
- Porto and Bayern to draw and both teams to score (17/4) – Porto have what it takes to get a draw against Bayern but they are unlikely to come through the game against one of the best sides in the world unscathed. A 1-1 or 2-2 result is very possible.
