The Premier League is wonderfully relentless this season. The slightly early finish to accommodate the European Championships in the summer gives us little respite from the enthralling action. There are a number of storylines still to be written at both ends of the table and this weekend should provide yet more thrilling drama. To add to the excitement we have put together three different accas below to give you a chance of a win no matter what level of risk you are happy taking on.
Easy Winner – evens (BetVictor)
- Under 3.5 goals in Crystal Palace v Watford (2/9) – Crystal Palace and Watford are suffering just now. Their football is stilted and goals are tough to come by so expect a low scoring match between them on Saturday afternoon.
- Over 1.5 goals in Arsenal v Leicester (1/4) – Leicester are spoiling us this season. Not only are they at the top of the table but they go about their business the same way no matter who they are playing. They should be involved in another thriller against Arsenal on Sunday.
- Manchester United/draw double chance against Sunderland (3/10) – Louis van Gaal came out fighting after Manchester United’s draw with Chelsea. His side are playing better lately and they must be able to avoid defeat against relegation candidates Sunderland.
Medium Risk – 31/4 (Sky Bet)
- Everton to beat West Brom (4/7) – Everton were wonderful against Stoke last weekend. They are still a way from where they want to be but in their match against a poor West Brom side the Toffees should win again.
- West Ham to beat Norwich (21/10) – West Ham are not at their best at the moment but they are in a great deal better shape than Norwich who keep giving goals away and look destined for the Championship. The Hammers should have enough to get the win at a tasty price.
- Liverpool to beat Aston Villa (4/5) – An experimental Liverpool side were unlucky not to beat West Ham on Tuesday night. Jurgen Klopp will be able to put out a largely rested side against Aston Villa and should have enough about them to stop Villa’s mini revival.
Long Shot – 28/1 (Bet365)
- Watford to beat Crystal Palace (11/5) – Alan Pardew looks like a man who is thoroughly fed up. The Crystal Palace manager cannot buy a win at the moment and Watford can capitalise on Palace’s woes by getting back to winning ways.
- Leicester to beat Arsenal (18/5) – Why not? Leicester are a brilliant football team while Arsenal have a tendency to shoot themselves in the foot. The Foxes will go for the win and there is no reason why they cannot claim yet another huge win.
- Sergio Aguero to score against Tottenham (20/21) – Spurs will feel they’ve got a good chance of getting a win up at the Etihad but if they are to do that they will need to stop Sergio Aguero who manages to play well even when his teammates do not.
