There is only one game to go for the four Champions League and four Europa League teams before the finals. After an exciting set of first leg matches that threw up a surprise or two, we’ve looked at what is likely to happen and put together three accas to make you some profit as you enjoy Europe’s very best going head-to-head.
Easy Winner – Evens (Sky Bet)
- Fiorentina v Sevilla over 1.5 goals (2/9) – Fiorentina took a 3-0 pasting in the first leg against Sevilla. They left Spain knowing that they need an incredible display in front of their own fans to have any chance of making the final. They will attack from the outset and there should be goals in an open match.
- Bayern Munich v Barcelona over 1.5 goals (1/4) – Bayern also need to come back from a 3-0 deficit. The Allianz Arena crowd are used to seeing their team score plenty but they will have a challenge keeping a clean sheet against Messi and co.
- Real Madrid v Juventus under 3.5 goals (4/11) – Real need just a 1-0 win on Wednesday to get through thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s vital away goal. This is a brilliantly balanced tie that could make it to extra-time. Juventus haven’t conceded a goal in their last three Champions League away games so will favour a defensive approach at the Bernabeu.
Medium Risk – 7/1 (BetVictor)
- Barcelona to beat Bayern (8/5) – Barcelona showed that they are the better of the two sides currently in the first leg. With the emphasis on Bayern Munich to attack, there should be plenty of space for the Spanish side to exploit and come away from Germany with a huge win.
- Napoli to beat Dnipro (5/6) – Napoli were disappointed to finish the first leg all square after their 1-1 draw at home. They need to score to avoid going out on the away goals rule and will feel they have enough about themselves to win the game and the tie outright.
- Real Madrid to qualify (4/6) – Juventus showed that they are no weak link with their 2-1 win in Torino but they’ll do very well to get to the final given the strength of Real Madrid at home. The match should be close but the away goal puts Real in a very good position to get to Berlin.
Long Shot – 242/1 (Bet365)
- Real Madrid v Juventus 0-0 half-time score (2/1) – 1-0 would see Real Madrid through and they know they cannot allow Juventus to score an early away goal as that takes away any advantage the home side have for the second leg. This tight match could well be goalless in the first 45 minutes.
- Napoli to beat Dnipro from behind (8/1) – The Dnipro fans will be trying everything to get their players firing early doors and the atmosphere could boost them to an early lead. However, Napoli have some excellent goalscorers and won’t be too bothered if they need to overhaul a deficit in this game.
- Barcelona to win both halves against Bayern Munich (8/1) – Barcelona will be delighted if Bayern start this game anything like the way they began the first one. If Pep Guardiola employs the sort of man-to-man defending or aggressively attacking tactics that he has favoured in the past, his current side could be on the end of a hiding from his old club and their amazing attacking trio.
