We’ve got one more international break this year before the Premier League teams can turn their attentions firmly to the hectic Christmas period. Every team wants to head into the interruption on the back of a win but many will have two weeks to reflect on a poor result. To help you head into the break with a boost to your betting balance, we’ve gone through the markets to create three trebles for you no matter what sort of risk you are happy with taking.
Easy Winner – 13/10 (Bet365)
- Under 3.5 goals in Newcastle v Bournemouth (2/7) – Both Newcastle and Bournemouth have preferred defensive solidity over attacking flair this season. This is a game which could go either way but it’s unlikely to be a high scoring classic.
- Tottenham to beat Crystal Palace (2/7) – Tottenham’s form has dipped a little of late but they will surely prove to be too strong for Crystal Palace who are struggling to pull away from the foot of the table.
- Over 2.5 goals in Man City v Arsenal (2/5) – This should be the game of the weekend in the top flight. Both Man City and Arsenal are wonderful going forwards on their day and there should be plenty of goals at the Etihad.
Medium Risk – 9/1 (Ladbrokes)
- Burnley/draw double chance against Southampton (6/5) – Burnley have lost just one away game all season, a 3-0 reversal against Man City. In contrast, Southampton have just two home wins to their name. The Clarets should be able to at least avoid defeat at St Mary’s.
- West Brom/draw double chance against Huddersfield (4/9) – West Brom have been very disappointing this season. They’ve won just twice this term but will have targeted their trip to Huddersfield to turn their campaign around. The Terriers have been up and down and may find the extra top flight experience of West Brom to be too much on Saturday.
- Liverpool to beat West Ham and both teams to score (21/10) – West Ham’s defensive weakness cost them once again last weekend but they have now hit on a style of play that produces goals. The Irons should score against Liverpool on Saturday but avoiding defeat against Jurgen Klopp’s excellent attacking side looks beyond them.
Long Shot – 34/1 (Betfair)
- Brighton to beat Swansea (5/2) – Brighton are looking every inch a Premier League side at the moment. The Seagulls are tough to beat, they’ve got quality creative players and have scored in six of their last seven league games. Chris Hughton’s men could well secure another important away win against Swansea.
- Man City to beat Arsenal and over 3.5 goals (15/8) – Man City have no problem scoring goals and would love to send out a message by putting Arsenal to the sword. The Gunners are capable of scoring themselves but avoiding defeat is another matter entirely.
- Watford to beat Everton (5/2) – Watford’s defeat against Stoke came as something of a surprise last weekend. It would be less of a surprise if Marco Silva’s team were to bounce back with a win at Goodison Park against Everton who are woefully short of form.
