There’s a full card of Premier League fixtures this weekend and those important final league positions are still to be decided, especially at the bottom of the league where no team up to Newcastle in 14th can consider themselves safe. With so much action to go through it can be a bit difficult to find the best value but fear not, we have done the hard work for you, selecting our three best accas of the weekend to try and get some profit from the bookies.
Easy Winner – 6/5 (Sky Bet)
- Arsenal v Chelsea over 1.5 goals (1/3) – Arsenal still have an outside chance of winning the title but to do so they must beat Chelsea at the Emirates on Sunday. They’ve got very little to lose with a Champions League spot all but guaranteed so can have a proper go at Chelsea. Mourinho will look to limit the home side’s chances but backing there to be at least two goals is very safe.
- Manchester City to beat Aston Villa (1/4) – City returned to winning ways with a routine home win against West Ham at the weekend. They can make it back-to-back victories in front of their home fans against a Villa side who know there are better opportunities to secure the few points they need for survival.
- QPR v West Ham over 1.5 goals (1/3) – QPR need all the points they can get and must feel they have a good chance of picking up three of them against West Ham. The Irons have only won once in 11 games as Sam Allardyce limps towards the end of his contract. Both teams have scored in 61% of West Ham games and there have been over 1.5 goals in 82% of QPR games so two goals should be considered a given.
Medium Risk – 11/2 (BetVictor)
- Stoke to beat Sunderland (10/11) – Stoke have clearly not mentally checked-in for their holidays yet. They are playing well and are always tough to beat at the Britannia. Sunderland are just one point above the drop zone but failed to capitalise on their derby day win over Newcastle when they were thrashed 4-1 by Crystal Palace. This looks like a home win.
- Crystal Palace to beat Hull (evens) – Palace disappointed their own fans when they lost 1-0 to West Brom last weekend. Hull are in real trouble and if they lose here the effect on their goal difference could put them into the bottom three. Having failed to beat one ex-manager last weekend, they should get one over another one in Steve Bruce.
- Southampton to beat Tottenham (21/20) – Mauricio Pochettino returns to St. Mary’s on Saturday but his new team Tottenham will have to put in a good display to return to London with any points. Southampton want to finish the season strongly to ensure that they qualify for Europe and will overtake Spurs with a win here.
Long Shot – 32/1 (Bet365)
- West Brom to beat Liverpool (3/1) – Liverpool’s season is all-but over following their FA Cup semi final defeat by Aston Villa. They need to win pretty much all of their games to have any hope of qualifying for the Champions League but could leave the Hawthorns empty handed against a West Brom side who can play without fear having secured their Premier League place by beating Palace.
- Arsenal and Chelsea to draw (23/10) – Jose Mourinho loves making life difficult for the teams competing with Chelsea. They’ve drawn three of five games against the other top four teams and would settle for a point that takes them one step closer to the league title.
- Burnley to beat Leicester (6/4) – Burnley have really struggled to score enough goals lately but they simply have to beat Leicester to have any chance of staying up. Leicester are in their best run of form of the season but the wheels may come off as they give a leg-up to their relegation rivals.
