As ever we’ve got three different football accumulator betting tips for you and as the World Cup enters its second week the excitement is only set to increase. All the sides have now played at least once and we’re beginning to get an idea of their capabilities and how they’re playing so we’re hopeful of landing some nice fat accas right here.
Easy Winner – Evens (Betfred)
- Argentina to beat Iran (1/8) – Possibly one of the bankers of the tournament, Argentina to beat Iran is a nice easy way to get the ball rolling here. Lionel Messi and co will prove too hot to handful for an average Iran side who are devoid of any real stars.
- Germany to beat Ghana (3/10) – Germany showed their class against Portugal, whom they beat 4-0, and whilst we think an energetic and determined Ghana will put up a stronger fight we expect Germany to get the win in the end.
- Honduras v Ecuador under 3.5 goals (4/11) – We could have upped the odds by going under 2.5 goals in what could be a poor game but have decided to play it safe instead.
Medium Risk – 27/2 (BetVictor)
- Bosnia to beat Nigeria (31/20) – Bosnia impressed against Argentina and we think their attacking prowess will prove far too much for a poor Nigeria side here.
- Germany v Ghana half time draw (9/5) – Ghana know a draw will keep them in the competition and we expect that is what they will try and achieve here, well aware of Germany’s ability to hit them on the counter with their fast passing and power game. They will look to keep things tight and the sides to be level at the break looks a good bet as Germany are patient.
- Belgium to beat Russia (10/11) – Belgium struggled in their first game but then so did Russia and whilst both should improve here the superior class of the Belgians makes them a nice addition to this accumulator.
Long Shot – 111/1 (Sky Bet)
- USA to beat Portugal (9/2) – The US look amazing value here against a Portugal side set to be without Fabio Coentrao and Pepe and given Cristiano Ronaldo may not be as fit as he’d like to be and the US team will be full of confidence after their win over Ghana, we think this is a brilliant start to our Long Shot accumulator.
- Romelu Lukaku to score first (7/2) – We included Lukaku in our last acca and it didn’t work out but we thought he played well before being withdrawn and we expect him to have more chances now his side have settled into the tournament.
- Edin Dzeko to score first (7/2) – Dzeko, like Lukaku, failed to find the net in his first game but both men are in decent form and playing with confidence. Certainly the Bosnian will find things easier here against Nigeria than he did playing Argentina and so the Manchester City player makes our acca.
